The Chapô Julô is fully equipped to accommodate groups of people with disabilities. In addition to accommodation, this PRM lodging allows you to practice multiple specific activities whatever the season.
From this Savoyard gite and within a 10 km radius, suitable hiking sites are available on the Annecy Lake shores. The nearby cycle path is a real asset for practicing adapted cycling using the equipment available on site (tricycles, bike with stabilizer, stop, snowshoes and adjustable walking sticks ).
The strong point, the famous Annecy Lake, where you can practice suitable water activities and take advantage of the many beaches.
The Chapô Julô owners, Véronique and Éric, professionals in the medico-social sector and from the department will be able to advise you on all the possibilities you can have in this environment, whether on cultural, historical, sporting or even gastronomic leisure.
Organizing your holiday at Chapô Julo is also the possibility of calling on the company Sport Adapté Sensations which offers on-demand services for activities of nature dedicated to people with disabilities such as (tandem-ski, dual ski, cimgo) with equipment for guides.
The company Sport Adapté Sensations will allow you to access various activities with suitable equipment and in complete safety. Patented pilots will offer you the possibility to live an organized group trips from the holiday cottage to practice CIMGO, downhill hiking in mountain paths, thanks to the comfort of the 4 shock absorbers, an enveloping and fluffy bucket seat. It corresponds to all without limit of weight or handicap. Passenger safety is ensured by a harness, 4 disc brakes to regulate the speed and a lifeline ensures the locking of the 4 wheels when necessary.

Organize your excursions: downhill hikes & all types of suitable equipment (Entreprise SAS).
Take the 18-hole golf course for confirmed golfers and 9 hole golf course for beginners, in Giez itself, but also practice the activity.
Take advantage of the cycle path from Chapô Julô.
Discover the nature reserve at the end of Annecy Lake, 10 minutes from the lodging. It offers an adapted trail of 2.6 km. Educational signs invite you to explore one of the last reed beds in the lake, where you may meet some beavers. This site offers access to people with reduced mobility and the visually impaired.
- Experience the Servier Sailing Circle: For 18 years, the Handivoile activity at the Sevrier Sailing Circle has been developing. Equipped with a person lift on their pontoons to facilitate boarding, Handivoile gives accessibility to sailing for all! Their team of professionals is awarded to this practice with specific training.
- Dive with the Sevrier nautical club. Thanks to the FFH, the sport code allows most people with physical and / or sensory disabilities to practice diving in a clearly defined and reassuring framework. In swimming pools, or in a natural environment, progression in the “Handisub” course takes place in areas of depth adapted to the functional skills and skills of the diver up to 40 meters.

In fact, they provide people with high-performance seated ski equipment and FTTs (all-terrain wheelchairs) for all disabled skiers, from beginners to the most competitive… You can also contact these institutions to organize your outing and have the activity accompanied by an experienced instructor.
